Tune in to 570 news Thursday morning@1030am on the Mike Farewell show to hear our 4 KW Rangers players, as they chat with Mike about their trip to Slovakia to represent Canada Canada Ball Hockey / Hockey-B***e Canada at the ISBHF - International Street & Ball Hockey Federation U16 World Championships
What better way to wrap up the 19th season of KW Minor Ball hockey season , after being tied through 3 periods and OT U12 team 3 won it all in a shootout over team 2, both teams left everything on the floor and the 2 goalies were undoubtedly the mvp's of the game.
That wrapped up the season, we have 6 final games go into OT, this being the only one to get to a shootout.
Thanks to all the coaches who volunteered their time, to all the players for playing this great sport and the parents who filled the stands today.
We do it all for the kids, but couldn't do it without everyone doing their bit.
Enjoy the summer and see everyone for what will be a very exciting 20th year.
I have a lot of fun and surprises in store for the 2025 season.

Congrats to both of these women players who have ties to KW, great to see women's hockey finally getting what is way overdue, and even better all the women drafted including Natalie and Loran who have roots in our world of ball hockey
Finally got around to cleaning out and organizing the league storage, crazy how much gear and junk you accumulate over 18yrs, little better organized now
The boys ran into a very well prepared Guelph squad and came up short 3-0, I am beyond proud of the this team of local ball hockey players, we didn't add any ringers or bring in out of town players, this was group that played all season together and should be very proud, finishing top 2 in the country is a feat that most young athletes will never experience,
Thank you to all the players, coaches, parents, a memory that we will all share forever.
That's 2 wins and a tie after 3 games, final round robin game is tonight vs a very tough BC squad.
Currently sitting in 1st place
Great start won 5-1 over New Brunswick, onto game 2
Great game boys
From everyone at KWMBHL, our deepest condolences to all of Tyson's family and friends during this extremely difficult time.
Some of the KW Rangers U15 team and families, enjoying the experience of a National Championship in St John's , the games start 8am tomorrow, but those here, have had an experience of lifetime leading up to it, this will inspire so many of our players to continue our tradition of teams going to Nationals,
U8 KW goalie Liam Tisseman was busy in the Rangers 1-1 with Aurora Newmarket earlier today
