I hope everyone had an amazing Halloween! 🎃👻✨

I always joke and say that the day after Halloween is the first day of Christmas… and as I walked around the grocery store yesterday I saw all of the advent calendars on the shelves and listened to people as they talked about decorating their Christmas trees. As I am about to make my new Christmas candles for the season, I couldn’t help but feel how true that joke really is.

Halloween is near and dear to my heart as it is the one time of year that you can truly express yourself creatively and it is not super weird to do so! 😂👌😂

I like to take it as an opportunity to create a character. This year I wanted to be a whimsical gnome. As I researched the mythology behind them I came across a description that said - “Gnome: one of a species of legendary creatures, usually resembling small misshapen old men, ***said to live in the depths of the earth and guard buried treasure.***” (I wanted to create my own interpretation of a younger female version of this!)

I had so much fun walking around Fort Langley with my boyfriend dressed up in our gnome costumes. Don’t let anyone ever tell you that you are too old to dress up for Halloween! Fun doesn’t have an age limit. 😎🤠✨ (plus it is pretty cool when people want to hand you candy because of it 😂👌)

Anyways, as we enter the winter months I am excited to share with you all what I have for the holiday season. 😊❤️

I had an interesting morning today taking a tour of the just out side of Fort Langley ✨
I learnt a little bit about the processing of Cranberries. It is a very fascinating process!

I would love to learn more about the history of what came before the name “The Craneberry” and before the settlers arrived. Feel free to educate me more!

It’s almost Cranberry festival time!

It’ll run from 10-4 pm, there will be a pancake breakfast at the Lions club starting at 8 am. There will be about 250 vendors, ton of food trucks, live music, and more. There will also be CRANBERRIES! Grab a bag of cranberries while you are there.

I will be in the field across from the Saba restaurant on the main drag. My booth is #130 (there should be a map on the website)

“In my healing era” journals.

This will be a test run!

I often feel like an artist that doesn’t make any art. For the last year and a half I have been trying to figure out a way that I can incorporate my drawings into my brand more… So here it is.

Writing and drawing have always been passions of mine… and as I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been journaling most of my life. This was a way of blending in multiple passions into one thing!

And you can use them for my intention candles if you’d like :)

Happy first day of FALL all! 🍂 The candle season is officially upon us.

You can find my new fall candles at the LAST Fort Langley Night market of the year this Friday, and then also at the iMade market (also in Fort Langley) this Sunday.

The Gardening circle in Fort Langley will also have a restock of ALL of our amber glass candles this week.

The 29th annual Fort Langley Cranberry Festival is happening Saturday, October 12th from 10am-4pm, with the Fort Langley Lions Club pancake breakfast kicking off at 8am at the greenspace on the corner of Glover and Mary.

Join us for a variety of vendors, a kids area sponsored by featuring crafts and face painting, delicious food vendors, a beer garden, and live entertainment sponsored by at the stage in the greenspace. Don’t forget to get your fresh cranberries either!

There will be parking available at the orchard space at the Fort Langley National Historic Site, Parks Canada and at Living Waters Church.

Looking forward to kicking off the fall season with return of Cranberry Festival!

My CLEAN massage & Skin Therapy candles! 🕯

Yesterday I had one of my return customers pick up another one of these and she had such positive feedback about it. I was stoked to hear it. ☺️

These are made with Soy wax, Shea butter, Coconut oil, Almond oil, Vitamin E & A, and an Essential oil blend.

You can use this as a candle during a bath and then afterwards use it as a skin moisturizer! Or of course, you can use it for massage. 💆‍♀️

One comment that I keep hearing from people is that they are happy that it doesn't leave their skin feeling oily or greasy after using it. Also that they are glad that this candle has a lower melting point so it doesn't get scorching hot and is still usable.

The last half of this summer has been a total BLAST!!! But, the time has come where I am starting to think about fall and honestly I'm really looking forward to that too. 🍂

It was a cozy rainy day for a market yesterday. 🌼 Thank you to the Lower Fraser Valley Aboriginal Society for inviting me back for another market... I can't believe it's been two years since the first one already. Two years ago, this was the first market that I ever did.
