I know it’s been a while, we’ve been developing some new partnerships and are excited to announce- we’ve partnered with HESMAN Athletics for an all girls summer camp!

This is a team of individuals who prioritize whole health and not just one aspect of it. They will have a week of great activities that promote health, confidence and so much more.

We’ll be discussing how to flip the script with name calling and how to see the positive in our faults. As these courageous girls build themselves a special notebook throughout the day, they will learn where their boundaries are, how to accept apologies- and how to recognize fake ones.

Confidence 101 Workshop: grades 5 to 8

Sometimes the things we consider flaws, you know the things we wish we could change, actually provide us simultaneously with our greatest power.

Ever get stuck in the “ What is confidence” / “just believe in yourself “ loop? If we knew how to just do it, we would have done it already. We know what a confident person looks like, but it’s so hard to put our finger on exactly what it is. We can see it in demeanour and posture, but we can never seem to describe it quite right.

Confidence is the willingness to try at the risk of failure.

It’s been a great little break, and now a reminder of all that’s been accomplished in a short time. Today is my favourite… I’m mailing out the letters my May Moguls wrote themselves. The letters are filled with reminders of why they are awesome, the new skills they plan on using and their favourite part of the day (and are plastered with stickers lol). All written by a wisdom filled author… themselves ❤️.

A week ago yesterday, we ran our 3rd workshop: Confidence 101 with great success. Not only did we have a full house, but we left full of knowledge, self-understanding and full of great food from The HideOut Bar & Grill.

We had so much fun, that it never occurred to me to take some pictures of our activities and games. What a great sign of success!

I'm posting late because it was a busy week. I was able to do a project with Sysco Canada, where they shared with their impact team the work Raising Moguls is doing to help promote strong leadership in our girls. Our goal was to inspire everyone who came to the speaking event to reach out and participate in their local communities to help build our girls up to do great things.

Our next workshop will be in May, but the date will be announced in the spring. Until then, I'm working on a project with one of our local girl guide troops - so you may run into me there ;) !

Thank you to everyone who contributed and showed interest, I can't wait to grow our workshop options.

Confidence: a sight we all recognize, even if it's hard to put into words. We can see it in how we carry ourselves and in our facial expressions, but we mostly tend to be affected by its absence. It's a personal journey, but turning confidence into a skill instead of a feeling makes it concrete and accessbile to all.
