About 2 years ago, I had sandy blonde hair with very light blonde highlights. After many attempts of bleaching it, I realized that my hair was never going to be a platinum blonde shade because it was just so damaged, fragile and traumatized from all the chemicals that I've put it through in the past. Being the stubborn, impatient girl I used to be, I decided that if I wasn't going to be platinum blonde for summer then I'll dye my hair red, out of curiosity, before going back to jet black. THIS IS WHERE I MADE A BIG MISTAKE. I bought box dye from the pharmacy and dyed my hair red every 3-4 weeks for the past 3 months because it kept fading into a brownish red. Then I dyed my hair jet black with the same pharmacy brand a few more times and kept that colour for 7 months before missing my old blonde again.. SO ABOUT A YEAR AGO, I decided that I want grey/silver hair. I started bleaching my hair again. Let me remind you that black and red are the hardest colour to remove + I'm Asian so I have thick course hair AND I have a lot of build up underneath my black hair from old box dye. I could say that I had to bleach my hair at least over 10 times throughout the year, going from black to brassy brown, to orange, copper, then golden, blonde, very light blonde and finally grey/silver!! However, to get to where I am today, it was a lot of hard work, commitment and maintenances because I had to do multiple hair treatments, haircuts, and most importantly : being PAITIENCE!! 💆💇 #asianhair #silverhair #greytrend #50shadesofgrey #hairstylist #hairlife #hairdressing #laval #lavalsalon #stlaurenttrendsstedorothee #myhairjourney #saynotoboxdye #academiesophia #lorealpro #lorealprofessional #olaplex #lorealprofiber
