Squeezed this one in just in time for homeowners to move back in 2 days before Christmas.
Glue down vinyl plank that required lots of prep and floating to get the floors flat(ter 🤷‍♂️), complete with custom made wrapped nosings.
And yes, the boards do all line up from the main areas to the 2 sunken rooms.

A few pics from a large project we’ve take on to rescue a homeowner from bad contractor. At 8 months in they had wracked up huge “cost plus” bills, and only barely got the renovation to paint stage.
We came in, set a budget and a plan and got her through flooring, finishing, tile, and paint fairly quickly. She was excited since she didn’t think she’d actually be able to move in before Christmas.

Wrapped up these custom stairs for some great people today. We opted to go with the painted risers to tie in the railing and panelling as well as brighten up the staircase.
All the nosings were made out of the hardwood for a perfect colour and milling match.

New click vinyl plank floor run through this entire house including these stairs where we custom made nosings for a completely flush, easy to clean, and comfortable to walk on tread.

Another that we squeezed in recently. Hardwood stairs with factory made nosing and a combination of 3 sizes of hardwood. All was glued and nailed down to ensure it won’t move or squeak down the road.

Recently wrapped up this beautiful engineered hardwood floor. Complete with custom made stair nosings and a full wrap nosing to finish off the ledge along the stairwell.

Finishing touches.

Just wrapped up this hardwood floor install for some really awesome homeowners.

It started with adding plywood subfloor in 3 areas to make flooring heights uniform. Followed by 2 days of building up low spots and sanding down humps to get the floor flatter.

Finished off with a beautiful 6 1/2” engineered white oak hardwood flooring, custom stairs and nosings fit to the curves (we worked with the homeowner to make sure the stairs were done in a way that work for them to install their killer led light strips), and a full wrap for the open staircase.

Here’s one that we wrapped up between Christmas and New Year’s. Really clean solid 3/4” x 4 1/4” wire brushed ash hardwood. Complete with custom nosings, made by us flushmount heat vents, and even a little stringer cap to finish things off.

We’re not fans of having peoples homes/projects run over Christmas but sometimes things just work out that way. With a few long days we were able to give these homeowners enough finished space so that they could enjoy Christmas not stuck in their basement.

This house turned out pretty sexy! All the stair pieces and vents were made by us out of the flooring including building the nosings to conceal led strip lighting.
Definitely a classy looking staircase!

Most people probably won’t see what these pics are showing…but if you know you know.

Nothing like spending a Sunday trying to install some custom stairs but instead spending most of your time fixing the almost every single cut the carpenter got wrong. 🤦‍♂️

I guess this is where our name “Hardwood Solutions” comes from😆

Got to do this job last week for some awesome people.
We removed all the carpet, prepped for and installed new subfloor, supplied and installed the vinyl plank floors and stairs including building custom stair nosings.
We super appreciate homeowners like this being patient when were a week late starting their project after being off sick.

All in all we think it turned out pretty great.

Been a busy couple of months and looks like it’s gonna stay that way. This week we got a start on this monster house where we’ll be installing 4500 sq ft of hardwood with a full custom set of open ended stairs. More pics to come.

What a transformation after doing some long days this weekend.
Old, dingy carpet replaced with new subfloor, and Karndean DaVinci vinyl plank with a multi board with feature strip border.

Recent 7” engineered oak with painted risers on the stairs, custom nosings and flush mount heat vents.

Loving this 7” white oak. Creates the perfect subtle backdrop for the wild wallpaper these homeowners are picking.
Notice the custom stair nosings and hardwood fit around the railing spindles for a seamless look.

Here’s a very nice vinyl we wrapped up this past week. Pics showing all the steps involved starting with sanding the proboard seams, filling and floating them flat and finishing will a full spread glue install.

On to the next one.

First shop day in a while. Getting some flush mount heat vents made for an upcoming hardwood floor install.

Super excited to turn over this finished basement suite to an awesome customer.
He bought this house in south Lethbridge with the intention of adding a suite to gain some income.

We took this project right from zoning changes to register a second address, through the permitting and planning process, into demolition, and right to move in ready.

Definitely couldn’t have done it without our awesome sub-trades, suppliers and workers.

Got this one wrapped up yesterday for some great customers. Some very nice full glue Karndean Longboard complete with custom made full wrap vinyl plank nosings to avoid having to use metal trims at all.

It was great to get it done over the weekend while the homeowners were out of town, making the process so much more convenient and comfortable for everyone.
