Original 1886 door hardware stripped and polished. Now getting a few coats of satin lacquer to prevent rust. This project train is coming in to the station!

A couple relics from the 1886 house that I’m working on. The first pic is the window pull - a helping hand🤣. Second is one half of a hinge that I have stripped. Third is the hinges before stripping. HELP - I need 4 of these finial 3x3 antique hinges if anyone has some in a box or something I would love to get them. 🙏

The life of a Customer asked me to check the because we are expecting a lot of rain. Turns out it was not working. Time for a new one! 💪🤘🔨

Trying something new (why not - it’s a first for me in 22 years of renovation work). I sanded the window frames in preparation for normal white trim paint. Customer loved the distressed look so I’m spraying them with satin clear lacquer instead. It’s going to look 🔥

The mortise lock from the front door in the 1886 house were are working on. The lock company was Mallory Wheeler & Co. This one needs a repair. Is there anybody in London Ontario that can braze or weld this? Love to hear a recommendation.

Only two more rows to go! This 130year old ceiling will have a durable, easy to maintain and mold-proof finish. No paint ( although it’s paintable), no sanding, no drywall dust and quick to install (even with 20 foot long panels 🤪). Contact us if you would like more info. Works great in garages too!
