This world has enough celebrity preachers and social media prophets, what it needs now are men and women of God who know how to do hard and holy things.

It needs the consecrated and the separated.

This isn’t about fanfare, it’s about warfare.

If you are called in this generation, you need to understand this isn’t about glitz and glamour, it’s about travailing and contending.

There should be a groan in your spirit and a fire shut up in your bones that burns day and night.

This isn’t a job, it isn’t a promotion, it isn’t about connections and who you know… it’s a holy mandate from heaven.

God is going to use those in this hour who are willing to tear down the stages and rebuild the altars for their generation.

He is going to use those who are dripping with sweat, with worn out knees and shaking hands after a time of intimate worship and deep intercession.

He is going to use those who aren’t looking for a mic but are desperate for His presence.

He is wants the wild ones, the undignified ones, the ones who are willing to plunge their hands into the muck to pull out as many souls as they can.

He wants the ones who will storm the gates of hell while fiery arrows are being shot at them.

He wants the sold out and burning ones.

He wants the ones who have no choice.

Really, really good; this is not only an important call for prayer and intercession with fasting to the believing church, but also to the most important perspective - that these events are rooted in spiritual kingdoms, and must be engaged on that level. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and cry out as a woman in labour, “RESTORE!”

Sitting at my gate this morning to fly home. There are no clever “Christian” taglines or sayings that do justice to what I have experienced, or for Who has come close to me, and the Man I see a little more clearly after this week at the International House of Prayer. Like anything in God, if you can live without it, you can miss it.

It has ignited a quiet hunger for more, but also the sober awareness that if that ember isn’t breathed upon, it will go cold.

There is a glorious Man upon the throne. He is beyond description. He has an intentional plan and story unfolding in present human history. He will catch whoever is hungry and thirsty up in that story, if they will believe, and pay the price to follow Him. Let the fire on the altar never go out.🔥
