A glorious human and CrossFit coach will be here tonight showing off her make up skills. I, for one, will be listening intently as make up arts were never my forte.

Finally (better late than never) got on the bake-your-own sour dough boule train. Choo Choo! Lov’in it.

I was kinda intimidated at first with the whole starter thing. It seemed like such a commitment with feedings and all that noise. Also the thought of my lil jar of bubbly sour stuff dying was absolutely heartbreaking.

Happy to report, she’s thriving.

We’re into our third loaf and life has never been so yummy.

I don’t know about you but bread is my absolute love language. I’d 10/10 take a fresh loaf over pasta or potatoes any day. Anyone else with me?

Don’t skimp on the butter of course.

You can take the girl outta the croissant kitchen, but the butter comes with. 😉

I joined the Lunenburg haunted walk on Friday (the 13th no less) and learned many, many ghosty things.

1. Apparently, Satan only enters from the back door so builders would duplicate the front and back of homes to confuse him.

2. Many homes have broomsticks attached to their front doorway jams as witches can’t step across them. Tbh, I love witchy women so this isn’t going to fly at this house.

3. You CAN legitimately die of a broken heart. (Had suspected this but was unproven til now).

4. There is an ax murderer buried somewhere in our neighbour”s and yard. Oh, and he walks our park at night which is amazing.😬

5. Lunenburg is wildly haunted.
