It's been a weird trip so far. Spent one night in Gap for testing and now we are in Nice for the next 4 nights while we get this recce business sorted.
Then it's go for .official Rallye Monte Carlo 2022.

So long Quebec! The race went pretty well all things considered. Jason drive well and were it not for a small blip we would have won 2wd and come 3rd overall. But there was a blip that led to Eric and Groo fixing the car in a gravel pit enough to get it back to service. They effected a repair before the service area closed for the night and brought the car back to it's perfect glory. We couldn't have completed without their talents.
The guys from Rally Sweep Ontario were great as always. We hope not to see them again.

A short trip into Terrace. After a day waiting for weather to clear, we got in and out of Kemano today doing an orientation on a new F235. Terrace was on-hand to show the ins and outs of the new chassis and to be my tour guide for the past two days. @ Kemano, BC

Wow it's been two years. I was so busy in September I missed the deadline to file the court case against by two weeks.
I guess I can officially kiss that money goodbye. I wonder what happened to all the damaged stuff I left at .yyz

Sitting in the boarding area in Bathurst and they just announced that due to traffic at YUL our departure is delayed another 30 minutes. On the plus side most everything out of YUL is also delayed so we might still make our connection. A rough ending to a rough weekend.

Jason and I survived another year. Driving at ridiculous speeds through the mountains of Guanajuato, seeing some of the most amazing vista, sites and villages. Battling huge jumps and broken engine mounts Mats and his crew were able to get us over the finish line. Now a quick party, a long nap and a long travel day home to my loving and supportive wife who, I'm hoping, isn't waiting to kill me. @ León, Guanajuato

Sitting in holding before SS19 Mesa Cuata. Only this one and the power stage to go. A great job by and to get the engine rebuilt last night and back into parc ferme before 4am so we could restart today.

We finished the first full day in 14th overall. There will be several cars rejoining ahead of us today but with some luck and careful driving we have a chance at the WRC points scale.
Went out for authentic Mexican pizza, because that's a thing, and there's a live band covering all the great Mexican bands like CCR and Pearl Jam. Where have I ended up?

I counted 24 flights this year, yet only three of my are on planes. Big thanks to and for the amazing events this year including two WRC rounds and a podium with two SRTUSA teams. Thanks to , and for a great weekend of training which helped immensely ahead of Rally Idaho. And most thankful to my wife, , for having a crappy first half of a year and still carrying the 🏠 to allow me the freedom to play around with race cars.
I have no idea what to expect from 2019 but we're already in talks for another family vacation.
