Carport project in Toronto got approved in less than 2 weeks! I guess the city has finally caught up with all the covid backlog🤭

Mr. Ma contacted our office because he was reported by neighbors for building a basement entrance without a permit. He was ordered to stop the work but since the opening was already cut he would need a permit as fast as possibly.

We took the case and did measurements, all drawings and forms in two days. And now we finally got approved by the city in as little as 3 weeks! Client was more than happy now that he can finish the door and have a legal entrance to the basement😁

We are now giving instructions to his contractor too, as like most solo contractors out there, he has no idea of building code regulations. And he was actually the one who advised Mr. Ma to build without a permit.

If you want to avoid expensive delays and potential fines from the city, please always get a building permit or at least consult with a professional before you start any construction!

Hi, my name is Serena and I am the founder of Quick Permits, an architect/engineering firm with a mission to help small property owners/contractors obtaining building permits. During my years working in the architecture industry, I feel most architect firms out there focus more on large projects.
