More earring fun making earrings to match a favourite tunic…,using 11/0’s this time from Miyuki and BSDC.., the tassel ends are from an old belly dance costume from years past. Oh the stories my hips could tell, 🤣😆

Stitched beaded hoops using a wonderful September bead mix from Beadshop.com called “Lakeview”. Super duo in a Picasso finish as trim.

“For the love of Agate”

Dark red faceted Agate and dragon veined faceted Agate in shades of turquoise, rust and white are featured in this beauty that measures 36” from stem to stern. Spacer beads include seed beads in bronze and Picasso turquoise and melon shaped antique brass. Focal is genuine turquoise. Lobster and ring closure in Antique brass.

Into The Forest

Just off my mat and so delighted with the look of this quadruple strand bracelet. Riffing on a design from Kellie Sutton of Kellie’s Bead Boutique, I put together antique brass, bronze and forest green beads with yummy copper toned leather. We are blessed with forests all around us in our area. A natural inspiration!❤️

“Kimono Dragon”. I love experimenting with this wonderful kimono cord from Japan. My latest necklace shows off the vibrant colours in the Chirimen fabric cording and the focal piece, which is a silver dragon twisted around the cord, creates a simple but dramatic juxtaposition. The ornate cord ends complete this lovely piece.

The length of the necklace is 22 inches but can be made to your specifications by shortening or lengthening the chain.

Spiral

Walking through a marketplace in another country will tell you so much about it’s land and it’s people. Discovering the peoples’ artistry and craftsmanship is a magical experience. I am inspired by all jewellery but in particular, pieces made with components from places on the globe where artists create from scratch! This piece, titled “Spiral”, includes a pendant stamped and carved in India, magnesite melon beads from China and brass heishi beads from Africa! The Tierracast toggle closure is made in the USA.

I am delighted to say that the earrings in the collection were very popular and so, let me introduce you to it’s newest addition, “Dort Kus”, Turkish for Four Birds. These stamped copper earrings are adorned with turquoise melon Czech glass beads and are 2.5 inches in length and one inch wide. Copper plated ear wires.
