Don't forget! Happening tomorrow at 10:30am! Travel From Delhi to Varanasi!
Linda Watson and Betty Johnston enjoy travel and have visited many countries since retiring.
This trip took them to the cities of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, plus they spent a couple of days at the Pushkar Camel Festival and ended their visit on the Ganges in Varanasi. In India every moment brings new stimulation for the senses and the spirit. As their travel company said, “In a place as vast and ancient as India you must concentrate on the details to comprehend the whole”.
Linda’s commentary and Betty’s photography should make this an enjoyable experience for everyone interested in travel.
Call the office at 604-820-0220 for last minute registrations.

“A Flood of Memories”, travel back with us to 1948 and learn about the historic flood. . In 1998, Lifetime Learning Centre and Knowledge Network partnered to create a commemorative documentary, featuring five women of Mission who lived through the flood. This documentary was a local effort, as talented members of Lifetime Learning and Mission volunteers contributed their expertise at scriptwriting, production, direction, research, technical production, and narration. “A Flood of Memories” uses archival footage and historical photographs, bringing us to the actual locations where half a century before, water had inundated the landscape.
Join us for a viewing and presentation led by Karin Edberg-Lee.
Happy Wednesday everyone! This is a short week here with the Family Day Holiday, but not short on programs. This week we have the Heritage of the Flood Program, featuring "A Flood of Memories" documentary, and the first session of our art program "It Seems Familiar...From Inspiration to Appropriation in Visual Arts and Architecture"
