Amy Andrews Jewelry
Hand crafted silver and natural gemstone jewelry
Cuffs are my favourite right now. Might be due to the fact I can’t fit my rings on my third trimester fingers at the moment 😂
Let me know- what is your favourite accessory to dress up your look? 😍
Keeping up with social media is a big struggle for me. Who can relate!? So some of my favourite pieces regrettably never make it to the feed. I did get my Nikon out for this pretty little sapphire stack I made in April thankfully, and FINALLY got it edited. Here it is posing with my favourite hammer in very poor basement lighting.. because rain.

Don’t let someone else’s idea of success make you feel like you’ve chosen the wrong path. Your journey may look different to everyone else’s, but it’s yours.
Congratulations Karolina Gembal! You are the winner of the earring raffle! I will be contacting you shortly so please just keep an eye on your inbox ☺️
I want to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in this little fundraiser I threw together. I’m thrilled to announce that you guys raised a total of $325.00 for Bryan! Together you’ve all made a difference for an amazing man and his family as he fights cancer, so thank you all so much for your generosity ❤️ xo
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner you guys...Don’t wait too long to place an order on a one of a kind gift for your hunnybuns!

*ENTER TO WIN!!*
In an extra effort to help Bryan Vanderwel, a friend who has recently been diagnosed with cancer, I want to raffle off a piece of my handmade silver jewelry. 100% of the proceeds raised will go to Bryan, to help support him and his family while he kicks cancers ass.
These were designed and created with intention. Not only is it very likely that anytime I’ve gotten to hang out with Bryan its been somewhere on or near a mountain, but I also think the sun rays beaming behind the mountain are such a symbol of hope and overcoming a difficult journey. 🌄
**One ticket for $10, or 3 tickets for $25. **
I’ll put your name(s) into a draw for a chance to win this pair of sunbeam mountain earrings, that would make a wonderful gift to yourself or someone you know.
Final day to enter will be January 16th and the winner will be randomly chosen on January 17th.
Please send me a message if you would like to take part in this!
In the meantime, give all the positive vibes, good thoughts & prayers you can to Bryan, Michelle and their baby ❤️
Please share this post with anyone you think might be interested!
Thank you!

Hello and welcome to my page dedicated to my handmade jewelry!
I realized that it was time to make a separate space on Facebook for all things jewelry related since it was all mixed in with my personal account. So here’s to being a little more organized!
Since this is my first post here, I’d like to share a bit about myself and a back story on what made me decide to pursue this.
I’m a fan of gemstones and jewelry, of course, but my biggest inspiration would have to be the work of my uncle. Before his health declined, he had always been an amazing craftsman. He made beautiful woodwork, lapidary and jewelry. I was always so amazed at how skilled he was. I grew up receiving little gifts that were made by him.. from little boxes of polished gemstones, to my favourite opal ring and turquoise studs. It never occurred to me until recently that I would be interested in learning how to make jewelry myself. But while scrolling though jewelry pages and stumbling into a rabbit hole of silversmithing videos a few years back, a little spark ignited in me. I brushed it off thinking I could never do something like that.. Yet I found myself thinking about it more and more. Eventually I had a conversation with my best friend, Jenni, and that was the pivotal point. I think it was the first time I said out loud to anyone that I had this desire to learn how to silversmith. She encouraged me to just go for it and to see where it would take me. That was the push that I needed. I researched more seriously, watched countless YouTube videos and got kind of obsessed. I had looked into taking a beginner course since I didn’t trust myself enough to dive in without some form of training. I came across one that was 5 days long, and I decided to register.
A whole day would go by in this class and it would feel like a blink of an eye. I would be so focused on what I was doing that I forgot to eat or keep hydrated! I just enjoyed every second of it and by the end of the week I knew with absolute certainty that I wanted to keep pursuing it. So I ordered my torch and over the next year or so, I built up the rest of my tool collection.
Finally I had everything I needed and even a space to work in. My amazing man and his dad built me a nice sturdy workbench and at last, in June 2020, I was ready to fire up my torch!
Now I’m here. I’m slowly trying to figure out what my style is. I love turquoise. I love big rings and big hoops, but I also love minimal pieces.
Im beginning to learn that I prefer to make what I want to make. I don’t exactly get a thrill out of custom orders. This is mainly because I tend to change my mind as I go. I’ll have a design all planned out but I rarely ever stick to the plan. For this reason, I probably won’t be taking on any customs.
Anyway, if you’ve actually made it this far into my ramblings, congratulations! I promise this is going to be the longest post you will ever see from me. I hope you enjoyed getting to know a little bit more about me.
Thank you for being here and following along on my journey!
Love, Amy
