I wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts on setting boundaries and embracing a self-loving celebration. Whether you find yourself without family nearby, facing financial constraints, or simply choosing to distance yourself due to personal circumstances, remember that you are not alone. You are loved, and you have our support.

Thanksgiving has traditionally been a time for gathering with loved ones, indulging in delicious food, and expressing gratitude. However, we understand that not everyone can or wants to follow this traditional path. And that's completely okay! Each one of us has unique circumstances and journeys that shape our choices during this holiday.

Setting boundaries can be an essential aspect of maintaining our authenticity and taking care of our well-being. It's okay to prioritize your mental, emotional, and physical health during this time. If spending time with certain family members or participating in large gatherings feels uncomfortable or overwhelming, it's essential to honor that feeling and protect your own peace.

Remember, too, that not all families look the same. Some of us may not have close family members nearby, and that's okay. Our family can consist of chosen friends, cherished loved ones, or even just ourselves. Love knows no bounds, and a gathering of two can be just as fulfilling as a gathering of ten or more.

We are excited to announce that we are selling delicious Purdys chocolate bars to raise funds for the Kudos Support Foundation. With four different flavors to choose from, there's something for everyone's taste buds!

The Kudos Support Foundation is a food redistribution center and small food bank that is dedicated to supporting families, seniors, and individuals in the Mission area. Our mission is to provide a free shopping experience where individuals can visit and find stocked shelves, fridges, and freezers filled with food that is free for the taking.

In a time when so many people are struggling to put meals on the table, your support goes a long way. Thanks to our amazing volunteers and community donations, we have been able to provide thousands of meals each week.

Here are the details:
- Small Purdys chocolate bars: $3 each
- Large Purdys chocolate bars: $6 each

By purchasing a chocolate bar, you not only satisfy your chocolate cravings but also contribute to our cause of helping those in need within our community.

Shout out to Wang Ace and his team of help. Because of your support, we were able to put over 150 plates on the table. Save our dump from mass amounts of waste and feed endless animals for the week. Thank you for your continued support and hard work especially on this extremely hot day.

This is ran by a handful of volunteers and we are looking for support to continue our centre.
