B.C. to curtail log exports, rebuild forestry industries Premier John Horgan revealed on Thursday the pillars of a conscious and deliberate strategy to curtail exports of minimally processed lumber.

I keep threatening to be more active to help spread the word on 'state of the nation' with respect to safeguarding in Western Canada. Well, below is inserted a clip from WSBC's email newsletter (recommend that you get signed up!) with the incidents reported in the early fall of this year. I find the list interesting as some of these hazards are task related on a machine but not direct mechanized hazards from the machine motion.
