The maritime province in eastern Canada 🇨🇦, Prince Edward Island (PEI) conducted its largest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw of 2022 so far on September 15.

A total of 147 candidates received invitations to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada PR in this draw.

Out of the total invites issued, 142 went to candidates under Labour & Express Entry category while 5 candidates were invited under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur category.

Another 370 immigration applicants got one step closer to obtaining a Canadian permanent residency (PR)!!

In new targeted immigration draws held on September 7, 2022, the British Columbia PNP invited a total of 370 qualified applicants including tech workers, Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 4214), and Healthcare workers.

With exceptional interest in Canada from immigration applicants all over the world, Canada is ready to welcome 431,000 immigrants this year. The honorable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, shared that Canada has hit the 300,000 mark earlier this year than any other year.

As per the data shared by IRCC, India remains the top source country of new immigrants with 68,280 Indians having received their Canadian permanent residence followed by countries like China, Philippines, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Iran, France, USA, Pakistan, and Brazil.
