POLY CYSTIC OVERIAN SYNDROME AND AYURVEDA
Ayurveda, the traditional system of medicine from India, offers various approaches to manage PCOS (Polycystic O***y Syndrome). Here are some Ayurvedic strategies that may be considered:

Lifestyle Changes: Incorporating a healthy diet, regular physical activity, and stress management techniques like yoga and meditation can be beneficial
Dietary Adjustments: Eating a balanced diet with more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains while reducing saturated fats and salt intake is often recommended
Herbal Remedies: Ayurveda uses herbs like Ashwagandha, Cinnamon, and Turmeric to help balance hormones and improve insulin resistance
Detoxification (Panchakarma): This is a cleansing process that may be suggested to eliminate toxins from the body
Ayurvedic Medications: These are usually based on herbs and are tailored to individual needs after assessing one’s doshas (body energies)
It’s important to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new treatment regimen, especially since the effectiveness of Ayurvedic treatments can vary and scientific evidence supporting their use is still evolving4. If you’re considering Ayurvedic treatment for PCOS, it might be helpful to consult with both your doctor and a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner to ensure a safe and coordinated approach to your health.

Migraine is a neurological disorder that causes intense, throbbing headaches, often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light or sound. According to Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine, migraine is caused by an imbalance of vata (air and space elements) or vata and kapha (earth and water elements) in the body and mind. Ayurveda aims to restore the balance of these doshas through natural methods, such as:

Body detoxification: This involves cleansing the body of toxins and impurities that may aggravate the doshas. It can be done through fasting, herbal decoctions, oil massages, enemas, and nasal irrigation.
Herbal remedies: Ayurveda uses various herbs and spices to treat migraine, such as ginger, turmeric, brahmi, ashwagandha, shankhapushpi, and jatamansi. These herbs can be taken as teas, powders, capsules, or oils.
Shirolepa: This is a therapy that involves applying a paste of herbs and medicated oils on the forehead and scalp. It helps to pacify pitta (fire and water elements) and reduce stress and inflammation.
Shirodhara: This is a therapy that involves pouring a stream of warm oil, milk, or buttermilk on the forehead. It helps to calm the nervous system and relax the mind.
Sneha Nyasa: This is a therapy that involves applying oil on specific points on the head, face, and neck. It helps to nourish the brain and balance the doshas.
Lifestyle changes: Ayurveda also recommends following a healthy diet, avoiding foods that trigger migraine, such as spicy, oily, fermented, or processed foods, practicing yoga and meditation, getting enough sleep, and avoiding alcohol, smoking, and caffeine.
These are some of the Ayurvedic treatments for migraine. However, before trying any of them, it is advisable to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner who can diagnose your dosha type and prescribe the best treatment for you.

Honey is considered a healing nectar in Ayurveda, with many health benefits and uses. According to Ayurveda, some of the benefits of honey are:

It is naturally antibacterial and contains vital antioxidants and enzymes
It increases the digestive fire and scrapes away toxins, fat, and cholesterol
It aids in weight loss, removes congestion, and reduces Kapha dosha
It quenches thirst, alleviates hoarseness of voice, soothes a sore throat, and relieves cough
It is a natural detoxifier and good for the heart, skin, and eyes
It enhances the potency of other herbs when taken together
It heals wounds and burns when applied externally
However, honey also has some rules and precautions to follow in Ayurveda, such as:

Never heat honey, as it becomes toxic and harmful for the body
Use honey in moderation, as excess consumption can cause heat and dryness in the body
Avoid honey if you have high Pitta, bleeding disorders, or diabetes
Choose raw, unprocessed honey over pasteurized or adulterated honey
Honey is a sweet and powerful substance that can be used for both food and medicine, as long as it is used properly and wisely.

What benefit is there to having Live & Dried Blood Analysis done ?Live & Dried blood cell analysis can show the difference between a healthy and unhealthy cell and how it relates to overall health and wellbeing. This powerful proactive tool reveals early signals of inflammation, dis-ease or impending disease if the present condition is not modified i.e. lifestyle choices, diet, stress levels, and exercise. It can help to identify existing conditions/illnesses and how the body is responding to the current treatment, or if alternative strategies are required. It can aid in the prevention of dis-ease and illness by identifying, understanding, and implementing the unique needs of each client in order to achieve optimal function and vitality! “Disease is an underlying condition not the symptoms we diagnose or the ‘bugs’ involved” The blood sample is taken from a simple finger poke. One drop of blood is collected and suspended between two slides so the components of the blood remain viable and alive. The finger is wiped and a second drop of blood is taken on another slide. This sample is exposed to air which allows the blood to dry and be reviewed after the live analysis.
Once the sample is collected the blood is shown on a monitor and reviewed together. The Analyst will discuss what they observe and answer any questions you may have. Based on the findings, the Analyst will provide various recommendations to optimize your Health & Wellbeing ie. lifestyle choices ,nutritional changes, supplements, exercise and other strategies to support you on your path to wellness.
What happens at your appointment?
What are some of the things revealed through analysis? Components in the blood, the quality, variability, function, and interaction with other cells Level of health of the blood, tissues, organs, and body systems
Signs of dis-ease and the internal environment of the body Ability to oxygenate and deliver nutrients, hormones, and remove waste/toxins
Detect inflammation, bacteria, yeast/fungi, toxins, heavy metals, parasitic organisms, and anomalies
Determine the location and progression/reduction of inflammatory progress
Digestive issues, leaky gut, and bowel dysfunction Poor circulation and cardiovascular risk Unresolved trauma (physical & emotional) Internal challenges, imbalances & damage How the body digests and absorbs protein Blood sugar handling Hormonal imbalances Mineral and vitamin deficiencies/excesses Internal PH/acidity/toxicity Possible auto-immune condition Presence of allergies and infections Foreign matter and chemical exposure
