11-Hydroxy-Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (11-OH-THC), usually referred to as 11-hydroxy-THC, is the main active metabolite of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is formed in the body after decarboxylated cannabis is consumed.
11-hydroxy-THC does not naturally exist in the cannabis plant but is formed within the human body after ingestion of THC.
There are many different and interesting ways to consume cannabis, and yet the most potent way is edibles.
Although the psychoactive highs associated with edibles take much longer to kick in, they are also longer in duration and hits harder than if the cannabis was smoked.
It seems that the THC effect should be the same no matter how it is taken, right? Well, the orally ingested THC takes a different path through the body and becomes a more potent psychoactive molecule. -

Tainted v**e cartridges have yet again claimed another victim. A middle-aged man has died from a mysterious lung condition after va**ng THC oil that he'd bought from a dispensary.

This isn't the first time this has occurred. In fact, more than 200 people Nationwide have been afflicted by v**e cartridges, some cannabis and other e-cigarette devices.

There is misinformation circulating amongst us indicating that the cause of these situations are due to the THC content of the cartridges when that is not the case. The cause comes from the solvents and cutting agents, in which some are toxic when inhaled.
This is just another reminder that THIS INDUSTRY IS HEAVILY UNREGULATED 🇺🇸. Please please please, check lab reports, check out who runs the brand, check their source on where they are getting their extract from. Always ask questions! Always keep your health first and foremost priority before buying anything, especially if it's cannabis related!
