Last week, Nad & Tat from Small Talk had the opportunity to host a unique online trivia for Solutions Metrix!

35 team players got to know more about their colleagues through their travel experiences, their hobbies and their lifestyle. We also made sure to name a few fun facts and to read some of the members' quotes in order to reunite the squad 🧡 ✨

My name is Tatiana - we all call me Tat or Tatie. I plan team building activities and celebrations for dynamic teams in Montreal and Toronto. I do this for a living because the people close to my heart today are the people I used to work with in the past. I find it important to make connections happen beyond the workspace for so many reasons.

In fact, they are the reason of my success. They are comfortable to share constructive feedback, to tell the truth and to give me that extra push when things are not going well.

Both our personal and professional relationships are not perfect but we do know how to break tension through our coffee talks, our spontaneous road trips and our outings in the city that never sleeps

My past coworkers (aka my friends) helped me shape Small Talk. I feel lucky for having them in my life.

This is something I want to give to other people working together. I don't create relationships but I do create moments and opportunities for them to get to know each other and develop meaningful dialogues.

There are times where I need to take a step back and analyze the current situation because covid gives me 2 moods.

It is scary not to know what's coming next for my agency. With everything going on since xmas, it feels like I dunno what's the right thing to do in order to succeed (or survive). But my gut is telling me to keep hustling and never give up because apparently my games and activities make people happy 💕

2021 était une année assez mouvementée chez Small Talk. J’hésitais beaucoup à démarrer une agence événementielle en pleine crise, mais je n’ai pas pu m’en empêcher. Avec tout le soutien et l’amour que j’ai reçu depuis jour 1, j’étais motivée à me lancer en affaires.

Je suis extrêmement reconnaissante envers ma communauté. Je tiens spécifiquement à remercier :

• Mes amis et ma famille qui me disent constamment que je suis belle, que je suis forte et que je suis capable!

• Les premiers clients qui m’ont fait confiance et qui ont pris le temps de me partager leurs commentaires constructifs. Sans eux, l’entreprise n’évoluerait pas.

• Les partenaires qui croient en mon potentiel (et qui adorent mes projets…ça, ça me fait toujours rougir!!)

• Les entrepreneurs qui s’ouvrent à moi et qui me donnent une tonne de conseils judicieux. Vous m’aidez beaucoup à prendre un pas de recul et de faire face à mes défis. Sérieusement, merci merci merci. Des fois, ce n’est pas facile, mais j’apprends beaucoup de vous, à mes amis de HEC et de l’École des entrepreneurs du Québec

Bah en fait…je tiens à remercier tout le monde! En ce moment, mon moral prend un bon coup…mais je sais que je dois garder la tête haute dans cette période d’incertitude. Après la tempête vient le beau temps.

Small Talk Events had the amazing opportunity to help Busbud organize their 10th anniversary.

We’ve created an online scavenger hunt for the entire team and threw a casino party in the office last week. Our events designer Manon Le Guernic and project manager Tatiana Therrien have made sure to craft an intimate, warm and enjoyable night for the guests.

We have holistic nutrition practitioner Sylvia Tombs who explains in general the effects of consuming a high amount of alcohol in our system and shares more insights on how to offer healthier diet choices in a corporate party.


We have Eveline Dufour, founder of Sobre et Branchée who explains the pressure of drinking alcohol with colleagues and the emotions attached to someone who doesn't drink and feels pressured to justify their choice.

Sylvia, Eveline and Tatiana find alternatives to bringing people together without making alcohol as the main feature.

Hector Zambrano from MIRE Mouvement pour l'intégration et la rétention en emploi explains how they help victims of sexual harassment at work to reintregrate in the labour market and how to express themselves and to report to HR when this type of situation happens.

Our final guest is a non-profit organization called Groupe d'aide et d'information sur le harcèlement au travail who fights the cause and supports victims in the province of Quebec.
