Did you know that 10% of the proceeds from every Amagã purchase goes to the Nunyati Fund, supporting education in rural Ghana?

We started this foundation in 2020 to provide culturally relevant, community driven support to all things related to education in Dotse and Sena's home village of Dagbamete.

Since then we've provided uniforms, back packs, and other school supplies for students, sponsored the reinvigoration of the Kindergarten building -- including hiring local artists to paint the classrooms with fun, educational images -- supplied the school library with books, and more!

But our dreams are even bigger. We are in the process of setting up a scholarship fund for high school students, as well as dreaming up the establishment of a vocational school in the village, making it a hub of education in the Volta Region.

A big part of the process of nailing the recipe for these shampoo and conditioner bars was making sure they worked on a wide variety of hair types.

In our family alone we have all different types of textures and curl patterns - from 2A to 4C! And we all use the exact same bars

Hi friends! We miss you all!

We are so sorry for our prolonged absence. We really are a small family business and moving our whole life to another province was a lot more involved than we had planned for.

Schools to find, house to set up, jobs to line up. It's been quite a time!

But we have now settled in (more or less) and are looking forward to turning our focus back to Amagã.
