It was about time we introduced ourselves!
This is Pytri AI - a team of students from Montreal, Quebec that will bring you your favourite colony counting ai.

Ali is the founder of the project, he is in his final year of cell and molecular biology studies at Concordia University.

Felipe is doing his masters at Concordia and has a mechanical engineering background, working in 3D modeling for our project.

Dunia is doing her co-op degree in cell and molecular biology and is passionate about computer science, she is involved in the coding and convolutional neural network architecture department.

Kieu-Nhi is completing a B.Sc. in Biology and a minor in French literature and will guide Pytri in its ethical considerations, modelling process and outreach activities.

Valentina is in her senior year of cell and molecular biology studies and is passionate about machine learning applications in life sciences, working in the convolutional neural network architecture and data analytics department.

Afreen is currently working as a software developer in the FinTech industry. Her main expertise is back-end developing.

Michelle is a third year cell and molecular biology student that is involved in the social media and project management department of Pytri.

Zaki comes from a behavioural neuroscience background, with a passion in neuroimaging techniques. He is working on the prototype development of Pytri.

Biology meets computer science - the perfect combo for a promising future. Our goal is to never cease to optimize and facilitate scientific research in an intelligent way.

We are students in the fields of computer science, molecular biology and neuroscience, that have built a community with a common goal: innovation in research.
