Communicating with our subconscious mind is one a the keys to change.

I listen to self guided hypnosis videos daily and have seen great progress in myself.

A lot of people tell me "I'm working on myself" without actually doing any work.

Hypnosis is work.

I was scared of trying the guided hypnosis on YouTube because I was scared of losing control of my mind and not be able to get back to reality. I didn't know that hypnosis was just a very relaxed state where your subconscious mind could be reached more easily and that you can snap out of it if you want to. There is absolutely no loss of control like stage hypnosis that we all have seen. For me, hypnosis feels like meditation. Nothing to be afraid of.

Meditation has helped me to calm my mind and look at my thought patterns or feeling patterns.

Hypnosis has helped me change those feelings and patterns.

Still working on it every night too.

Seriously helped me to be who I want to be.

Both are mental states that can induce relaxation.

Meditation is an active process of focus and concentration
-you are in an alert state,
-it can be done anywhere and anytime
-you are not suggestible to suggestions.

Hypnosis is a passive state where a person is opened to suggestions
-you are in a relaxed state
-you have to be in a calm environment
-there are many ways to do hypnosis (guided self hypnosis before sleep is my favorite)
-you enter a dream-like state
-suggestible to suggestions
