I was actually undermined. Joseph Shin at Concordia in Mtl-- teacher with only an msc--he ran the labs:::: the computerized lab testing system had the anwers to all the tests misentered-possibly on purpose--can t say---meaning that if you weren t on good terms with him (Mainland Chinese chap) you weren't going to get your answers corrected properly. Well, he was pi**ed because I had a Vietnamese gf and he didn t 'approve' of whites dating Asians. Long story short---I never got that physics degree because I had gotten into too many arguments with him and there was no way out of graduating without having him on your side. Social engineering on steroids. Saw many not too bright folks getting massive tutoring and modified grades etc....total bs setup. The last argument had been over why I wasn't moving in with my parents to go full time in day classes because they wanted to close down the night division. I told him I had been a ward of the state on my own at 18. I lost it when he demanded I dump my GF. Ultimately it was self taught investing and electronic circuit design that was my workaround. I ended up losing the girl in the end--years later.
