We’re excited to join the Bedford Fair - on its 195th running year! In a region where Asian food is mostly known as Chinese, Thai, or Japanese, we’re ready to bring Filipino food and culture on the table!

Bedford is an hour away from Montreal (lots of anglophone because of the US border so close by) where people enjoy farm-to-table foods, good regional wines, and the joys of country livin’!

Come and support! Take a break, inhale some mountain fresh air, and enjoy the oldest agricultural fair in QC!

We are back. 🙌

In 2018, we did several pop-up food projects showcasing our beloved Pinoy food. We rented a cafe and a garage to transform them to a 3-day weekend dinner service. Unbelievable experience; incredible support from people coming from all walks of life. A year after, we were ready to open our restaurant - downtown Montreal, boul Réne-Lévesque. We found the perfect spot, renovations and planning underway. But things fell apart; we were heartbroken. We paused and reflected. We pivoted, we adjusted.

2020 came, the world stood still as we all know it. The pandemic made its mark. Looking back, the ‘fallen deal’ was actually a blessing in disguise - to protect us from opening a restaurant several months before COVID. We are forever grateful for this divine intervention; we are supported, guided, always blessed.

Fast forward to today, we are back and more than ever ready to pick up the pieces where we left off. We are a corporate café located south of Montreal. Breakfast, lunch, catering. Salads, soups, sandwiches, rice bowls. Filipino twist on every flavour. Chicken Afritada sandwich, anyone? How about some Beef Tapa sushi bowl? Better yet, Pulled Chicken Adobo banh mi?

It’s been over a month since we opened our doors. Feels good to be back. We are Café Le Trooper. Women-owned. Minority proud. Filipino heart and soul. 🙇🏻‍♀️✊🏽🇵🇭
