About us

Visual Landscape Services is a small property maintenance organization focusing on Landscape maintenance and construction with a secondary focus on building maintenance and repair. Operating in both Regina & Moose Jaw with local staff since 2010, we strive to provide efficient service with quality work to our clients. Our company mission "To Do Our Best to Show Your Best"

Job Summary

We are looking for detail and customer-oriented people who enjoy the outdoors, don't mind hard work, and take pride in the work they do. Preference will be given to those with a strong knowledge of the position to which they are applying.

· Interested candidates must be both dependable and flexible with hours as weather determines our workdays, holidays & weekends included.

· A driver’s licence and reliable transportation is a must.

· Must be physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting for long periods of time.

· Good working attire is necessary, gloves, eye protection, boots, pants, etc. as working in extreme weather condition may be required.

· Having a truck and willing to use for work is an asset but not required. (A vehicle allowance would be provided)

· Hours of work and salary may vary depending on skills and willingness to perform a variety of different tasks.

Responsibilities and Duties (include but not limited to:)

Winter (October - April)

· Clear snow from residential properties throughout the city using various types of small equipment including but not limited to Snow Blowers, Backpack Blowers, Shovels, Scrapers...

Spring (April - May)

· Yard Clean Up including but not limited to Aerating, Power raking, Leaf and debris removal, garden tilling, flower and shrub planting

Summer (May - September)

· Routine yard maintenance including but not limited to Lawn Mowing & Trimming, Shrub and small tree pruning, garden and flower bed w**ding, lawn fertilizing and w**d control, Irrigation maintenance and adjustments.

Fall (October - November)

· Yard Clean Up Including but not limited to Aerating, Leaf and debris Removal, Irrigation system blow out/winterizing.

All Seasons

· Assist with all property & building maintenance and projects when required including but not limited to Landscape Projects, Minor renovation & construction, Minor Plumbing, Junk Removal, General Cleaning.

Qualifications and Skills

Any of the following experience and knowledge is an asset;

· Aerating
· Power Raking
· Lawn Care
· Gardening (Annuals, Perennials)
· Garden Tilling
· Snow removal
· Landscaping
· Yard Maintenance
· small engine maintenance
· construction
· general building maintenance, (plumbing, electrical, hardware, & minor repair)
· Painting
· Cleaning

Job Type: Part-time

Salary Range: Up to $16/hour

Masks must be worn while working in closed spaces when working with other individuals on the worksite and when interacting with clients.
