Have you ever wondered where the "hump day" term came from?
Here's what some say, Wednesday first came to be known as hump day back in the 1950s. The expression figures Wednesday, the middle of the workweek, as the hump people get over to coast into the weekend. Then in September, 2013 thanks to a popular commercial by the insurance company GEICO with a camel asking co-workers what day it is, it all took off!

There's nothing more refreshing than a crisp fizzy drink, and your soda machine lets you indulge your carbonation cravings in the comfort of your own home with its easy-to-use devices.
SO….

📌Here's a few helpful tips on getting the most out of your Refilled Canister.
1.FULLY REMOVE the top blue covering we have put on your canister after we cleaned and sanitized it. You want to make sure you have a unobstructed connection when screwing in the canister, same if using the quick connect type.

2. You want an air-tight connection, the bottle shouldn’t touch the bottom of the appliance, it kind of just hangs there.

3. If your bottle is worn from use or warped from heat or dishwasher, be sure to replace it- air-tight connection is needed.

4.Place Classic canister in machine turn until snug, it takes several turns-if to loose, gas can escape if the seal is not there. (you would have then lost some co2 and your canister won't last as long.) You may think it's a faulty canister, but many times it's not that, it’s to do with it not being screwed in tight enough. For the Quick Connect be sure you have fully pulled down the handle.

5.Like any home appliance it's good practice to keep your machine clean. Remember to wash and wipe the up-side front part where your sodastream bottle screws or locks into the machine.

6. Finally, Once done carbonating, let your bottle sit untouched in the machine for up to 40 secs for the carbonation to spread thoughout otherwise you may be less fizzy than you would want.

Looking for an afternoon or evening adult Spritzer, try the 🫐Blueberry &
Peach 🍑 Vodka Spritzer.
Ideal for summer soirées, garden parties, or a relaxing evening on the patio, this vibrant cocktail combines juicy blueberries and sweet peaches with crisp vodka and sparkling soda.

Put together: 1 cup Fresh Blueberries
1 Large Peach (sliced)
2 oz Vodka
Soda Water
1/2 oz Honey,stevia or Simple Syrup (optional, for sweetness)
Fresh Mint Leaves (for garnish)

1. Muddle Fruit: In a shaker, combine 1 cup fresh blueberries and 1 large peach, sliced. Add 1/2 oz honey, stevia or simple syrup if you like it sweeter. Muddle the fruit together to release all those delicious juices. 🍑🫐
2. Mix: Pour 2 oz vodka into the shaker with the muddled fruit.
3. Shake: Add a few ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to blend the flavors.🌀
4. Strain: Strain the mixture into prepared glasses, dividing it evenly.
This will keep most of the fruit pulp and seeds out, but a few pieces can add character. 🍹
5. Top off each glass with soda water to your taste and stir gently to mix. 💧🍸
6. Garnish: Add fresh mint leaves and a few whole blueberries or a peach slice to the rim of the glass. 🌿🍑🫐
7. Serve: Enjoy the refreshing and fruity goodness of your homemade spritzer right away. 🍹

𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐳𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐞

1/2 cup sugar
1 cup fresh blueberries
2 limes
1 cup sparkling water

Instructions:
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add blueberries and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Strain the mixture through a sieve or cheesecloth. Set the liquid aside to cool completely.
Juice 1/2 of a lime per glass. Slice the remaining half of the limes and place in glasses.
Fill each glass with crushed ice. Pour 1/2 cup of sparkling water into each glass.

Add 2 tablespoons of blueberry simple syrup into each glass.
Stir well and taste.
Adjust sweetness with additional blueberry syrup if desired.
Enjoy your homemade Blueberry Lime Spritzer! 🍹✨

Makes 8 servings
▢ 16 cups seedless Watermelon
▢ 16 ounces Sparkling Water
▢ each -¾ cup Blueberries & strawberries
▢ 1 Lime

Cut the watermelon into chunks and puree in batches in the blender. Strain the watermelon with a fine mesh strainer, pushing on the pulp with the back of a spoon to remove all the juice. Discard pulp. Repeat for strawberries.

Pour watermelon & strawberry juice and sparkling water into a pitcher.
Add the juice of one lime. ( add a sweetener to taste if needed)
Serve each drink over ice with a few blueberries in each glass.

The science of Carbonation.

1-SURFACE CONTACT between CO2 and the fluid is where the gas absorption happens. The more surface contact between the CO2 and the water, the faster it will be absorbed. A lot of bubbles moving around quickly, means a lot of surface contact and therefore a lot of gas absorbed by the water faster. This won’t happen on its own, remember that the gas wants to just float up and sit calmly above the water, not dive down, hence the psst psst of pushing the co2 into the bottle being used for fizzing

2- PRESSURE allows the water to absorb the CO2. When carbon dioxide gas is added to cold water under pressure, the gas will dissolve into the liquid. The level of carbonation achieved will depend on the pressure applied. Leaving a rest time before removing the bottle from the machine lets the co2 disperse throughout.

3-COLD is key to carbonation. Bubbles are created through the absorption of co2 into liquid. As the temperature of the liquid decreases, more CO2 can be absorbed by the liquid. So the colder the start water the better!

Did You Know These Tips To Great Bubbles.

📌Cold water holds carbonation better. Bubbles love cold water! For best results, chill your filled bottles in the fridge before carbonating.

📌Re-carbonating your sparkling water. If your bubbly is not fizzy enough, you can re-carbonate as much as you’d like! But we don't recommend carbonating after adding syrup as it can clog the spout and lower the efficiency of your machine.

📌Always store your carbonating canister in a cool and dry environment, such as your pantry. Do not expose or store canisters near a heat source, or leave them out in the elements.
Every carbonating canister is fitted with a unique safety valve, which will safely release the gas in the unlikely event the pressure in the carbonating cylinder rises.

ingredients
12 Ounces Frozen Pink Lemonade concentrate (thawed to slushie form)
4 Cups Pineapple Juice
1 Quart Sparkling water chilled
Juice of 1 each- lemon and lime
Ice cubes
Garnish: fresh mint sprigs or fresh fruit slices (Try orange slices, lemon slices, strawberries, maraschino cherries, any fresh fruit works)

In a large punch bowl or pitcher, add the pink lemonade concentrate and pineapple juice and juiced citrus. Stir together.
Just before serving, add the chilled sparkling water.
Serve over ice cubes and garnish.
