Milan Legris is a Wealth & Tax Planning Consultant with Canada Life. Milan tends to approach things a little differently than people might think. While the core of his work is to provide advice about tax & estate planning, he is fundamentally a compassionate problem solver. Darren graduated from the University of Guelph with a BA in Economics and entered the financial industry in 1987 with a large Canadian life insurance company. He went on to obtain the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C.) designations. Darren joined the Canada Life Regional Sales Management team in May of 2021 after spending the past 17 years with two major National Account firms as an Insurance and Estate planning specialist.

Darren’s background as a specialist in insurance-based estate planning strategies as well as his experience in the family market, allows him to assist advisors in all cycles of their career to build financial plans and solutions for their clients. Registration is open for the CLU 257 Advanced Estate Planning
course. This final course for the CLU is semester based and only offered twice per year.

Registration closes July 12 at 4:00 P.M. Eastern Time.

Students who register for the Summer semester will write the final exam on November 13, 2024.

Note: Registration for the Winter Semester will open in December

Lisa Moore-Empire Life Account Executive Retail Insurance

Lisa started as an Insurance Account Executive at Empire Life in the spring of 2019 working in the GTA. She started in the insurance industry in 2002 working at a large insurance carrier and moved on to an MGA in 2013. Throughout her 20+ years Lisa has held many different roles within the industry including Underwriting services, Group benefits, Reinsurance, Training and Business Development.
