I can hardly believe it’s almost February!

I’ve been a little quite for the last few months and honestly I’ve needed the break. For those of you who don’t know me personally, I work full time at a Primary Care Clinic. The last few months have been tough; patients have more complex needs, orphaned patients need better access to quality health care, better access to diagnostic imaging and
our government needs to step up and address years of underfunding, understaffing and under recruiting health care workers. All that to say, it was starting to feel as if the New Brunswick healthcare system was collapsing around me…maybe it still is but I feel distanced from it and no longer feel it’s my personal responsibility to fix these systemic failures.

All of this to say, I’m finally in a place where I feel like creating again and it brings me joy and we all could use a little more joy these days.

Sorry things have been so quiet, the little crochet co. has been accepted as a casual vendor for the 2022 Pugwash Farmers Market season and I couldn’t be more excited!

For now, we plan to be at the market biweekly starting in July to allow time to plan, prepare and continue working on stock. We have some fun new items planned and eco-friendly favorites will make a return.

The situation in Ukraine is heartbreaking. I, like many others, have been wanting to help with relief efforts in some way and I feel the best way to do this is with a monetary donation.

For the month of March I will be donating 100% of crochet sales to the Canadian Red Cross’ Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal.

With the sunflower being Ukraine’s national flower, Sunflower Bookmarks will also be available to pre-order. These will be $7 each and available for pick up at the end of March. Shipping is available.
