Little rebel with a pen that stings and words that inspire

01/04/2024

Every empire that ever took advantage of its power has lost. There is no power above the universe and its sacred laws. With power comes the responsibility for peace, not genocide. Use your power wisely, use it for love, not hate.

If anyone comments to justify violence in any shape or form, I will block you. I do not tolerate ignorance and hostility. You are either with or against humanity. Love, peace, and life are basic human rights, no ifs or buts.

Photos from Doua Hreiche's post 10/28/2023

At this point, it's no longer about politics. It is about humanity. As this genocide unfolds, we all have a duty to raise our voices no matter where we're from or where we stand.

not human shields

no..they are the children of Gaza..

flesh and bones

the sons and daughters of human souls

mothers who would give their all

to nurse their infants again

not human shields

but children embraced by fathers and mothers aiming to shield

their little bodies from the drones that claim them

not human shields

but they are hopes and dreams

they are the sprouting trees

from the roots of their parents' genes

they are their elders’ eyes

they are the songs and rhymes

of the future of Palestine

not human shields

no.. they are the pencils that long to write

their diplomas on the stars of Gaza's night

they are the footprints that long to walk

on the birth place of Jesus Christ

not human shields

but little humans we ought to shield

from the big egos of big men

shooting from either side of the field

perhaps if we let them breathe

perhaps if we set them free

they may grow to shield us from ourselves

they may very well be, the hearts on our sleeves

they may break our silence, they may conquer our fears

as we raise our voices, we raise the truth

that they are the children of Gaza

not human shields

Stop searching for life through the pleasures of instant gratification, search for life within. You cannot expect to dance your pain away, not before you cry it away.

You say I am a just a dreamer
But a warm summer is birthed
From a frozen iced earth
Though the winters may breach her surface
But her insides will rebel and burst
With dreams of a burning sun
Wearing a rainbow skirt
And melted water rushing
To kiss the sand dwelling in thirst
You say I'm just a dreamer
And every dream of me is worth
A world brainstormed and architected
By the dreams of a dreamy universe

don't call me beautiful
unless you've been through my eyes
and seen the worlds that lie behind
unless you've searched through the forests
and turned every stone in my mind

dont call me beautiful

unless you've unveiled every memory
and encountered every child of my past lives
unless you have the curiosity to measure
the distance between all my grounds and all my skies

don't call me beautiful

unless you've heard my heart race through the storm
unless you've wandered through all its gates and all its dorms
unless you've peaked through it's cracks
unless you've chased all it's tracks
unless you've seen it shatter millions and take new form

don't call me beautiful

dont yearn those lips they're just flesh
don't haunt my curves with your stares, don't obsess
don't dwell on the length of those lashes
this temple you worship is bound to be ashes
this skin is fragile as fabric
this beauty is a delusion, a trickery by the satanic

don't call me beautiful

unless you speak of the charm within
unless you can see this soul's wrinkled skin
a soul that lived a thousand lives
traveled the universe and seven skies
A soul that toured every reeling planet
lived as Cleopatra and died as Hamlet

I've lived on earth, I've lived in seas
I've roamed the sky, and stood amongst trees
yet you struggle to find your rhymes
to sing this vessele a lullby

Sing me, sing this ancient soul
move this ephemeral body like a musical
sway my waist but before you do
look through my eyes and call me beautiful

Put your envy aside and celebrate her! It makes you more beautiful.
Happy International Women's Day

This is supposed to be an empowerment day and in order to become more empowered as women, it is essential that we recognize our weaknesses and shed light on them. The first step to change is awareness so let's be real.

I have come across many competitive, and envious women who called themselves my friends. Yet I have come across the kindest, and most supportive women whom I call my friends. But today I won't be speaking of the strong, I will be speaking of the weak amongst us. Those who tell you they are proud of you, but display negative vibes. Those who embrace you, only later to backstab you. Those whose positive comments about you are always followed with ifs and buts. Those who use your weaknesses against you. Does it ring a bell? If it does, then let them go and surround yourself with strong, positive, and confident women, they exist! But before you distance yourself from the weak, let them know who they are. They most likely will deny your claims, but it is best to face them with the truth.

I've heard so many women say they are attracted to married men. And it makes me wonder.. is it the married man that they are attracted to or is it the competition with the wife who is struggling to hold her home together? It baffles me! The gossiping, the stinging, and the competition are all beyond me. They happen all the time, there is no hiding it. Perhaps it's society that has long set women up against one another but it's no excuse!

On this day, I recommend that as a woman you look within yourself. If you feel the need to shine above your friends then know that you will not. The only competition that will get you far is the competition you hold within yourself. 03/08/2022

Curiosity is the essence of human existence. It takes an open, creative, and present mind to yearn knowledge. Knowledge gives us power to advance individually and collectively. So why is it important to travel space and time? Because "Curiosity and questions will get you further than confidence and answers."

What topics are you curious about?

I am usually curious about astronomy, spirituality, and human rights. Learning all things science and spirituality makes me feel more connected to God and the universe. It gives a feeling of belonging to something greater. And learning about human rights gives me a sense of purpose and a strong feeling of love and compassion.
