With so much division and hatred in our news feeds, it feels extra important to shine a light on unity and collaboration. It's a privilege and a choice to support each other, celebrate each other, and work together. Captured here is a first of many meetings among leaders fromFamily Services Ottawa, Ottawa Muslim Community Services,Jewish Family Services of Ottawa,Somali Centre for Family Services, and Counselling and Family Service Ottawa. As you can see, we're pretty happy to be working together to help our clients and community towards peace and health.

We hosted our 4th Annual Day of Fasting Challenge and Iftar with some staff from Children's Aid Society of Ottawa. Challenge consists of all participants must try and abstain from eating and drinking from dawn to dusk. Afterwards we would break our fast together and share our experiences.

Feeling blessed and grateful to be able share a meal with everyone and hear all their lovely experiences.

Also feeling ambitious to extend the challenge to our other partnering agencies next year. Anyone interested? 🤗🥗🥘🍲
