CCRO invites you to our upcoming 21-hour Community Mediation training workshop being held in via Zoom on Friday April 12th, Saturday April 13th and Sunday April 14th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
This 21-hr Community Mediation workshop emphasizes the development of practical skills to resolve interpersonal conflict and to facilitate mediation. It explores skills and develops strategies that enhance effective communication and are essential when facilitating conflict resolution. Role-plays and interactive exercises to integrate theory and practice are an essential part of the training; coaches assist with the role-plays.
Graduates will be invited to take part in our monthly role-play Community of Practice sessions where they will have a chance to practice their skills and receive coaching from experienced mediators.
The course cost is $450 (including HST), and $250 for full-time students. It will be facilitated by some of our highly qualified mediators/trainers. We have space for 16 participants and registration is on a first-come first-serve basis.
