Twenty years today since Dec 13, 2003, when we lost our father / papa Pastor Okwier Oletho, my two uncles and their sons, 8 family members and 450 Anyua men massacred in a day. Two bombs were thrown into our house and was burned down, over 2000 houses were burned down in all the Gambella area and villages.

The gov't of Ethiopia/ EPRDF together with our own civilian neighbors picked up machetes and axes, butchered our innocent Anyua people of Gambella, the military shot and killed young and old men in the daylight, burned houses and drag our people in the street like worthless dogs and pigs. We will never forget!
