Over the last 3 months, with every order of one of our featured items from Beckta dining & wine, Play Food and Wine and Gezellig, a contribution was made directly to Parkdale Food Centre.With our guests, we raised thousands of dollars for Parkdale Food Centre and their inspiring programs that focus on caring with dignity for those in need in our community. Our team visited PFC this week to see first hand the incredible impact they have on so many.3 Important facts about ParkdaleParkdale is a good food community hub, staffed by a small team of dedicated staff, a large base of engaged volunteers and a network of community partners. Parkdale hosts a diverse community, who share a common bond - the love for good food and community. In addition to grocery and meal programs sharing healthy food with more than 3500 individuals each month, PFC's regular programming includes cooking and social justice workshops for all ages, advocacy and community development, volunteer opportunities and youth programming.Again we want to thank our amazing guests and community for coming together to support this incredible cause.
