Rebelpetal sure has had an evolution through these 9 years. From our tiny 600squ ft workroom space to our 2500squ ft expansion, to learning our flower shop runs more efficiently & more productively all with less stress and more work life balance, with the doors closed to retail clients. Our name has consistently given us the courage to approach this floral industry with a new approach. 9 Years Ago today, I signed a lease for the rebel petal space in Manotick. I took a little trip down memory lane on instagram last night and pulled out a few photos that fill me with pride, gratitude and life lessons. I am beyond grateful for the support you have shown my small business. In 2015 when we opened, I was just praying someone would show up. We had an overwhelming opening weekend that left us spinning with the love we received. Thank you💗 My business has had an order every single day we have been open. Something I am very proud of even when there was only one sale and it was $35💗 The opportunities we have been apart of has been mind blowing. In 2020, we burned the old business plan and wrote a new one redefining how a flowershop can operate. Our online/telephone model has given us a better, more efficient, more productive, less stressful work day. The day to day operations of a small business are not for the faint of heart. I regularly feel like Im swimming against the current. But when I look back on these past 9 years, all I see is the love I have for my career, my business, my team, my man and above all of that, You💗our awesome allies, supporters and clients who we are grateful for every single day💗💗💗
