Kevin MacKay Music

I'm thrilled to announce my entry into the world of online streaming! My CD, 'Kevin MacKay - Something More' (2005), features talented family and friends as guest artists. Recorded in Prince Edward Island at Guernsey Cove Parlour Productions by Gordon Belsher, this album is a special project for me. I was honoured that it was nominated in the 2006 PEI Music Awards. One of my favorite songs, 'On a PEI Evening,' was inspired by an evening walk along Stanhope Beach. The music is greatly influenced by all the amazing musical talent from Canada's East Coast. In 2005 I released a CD of all original music that featured some amazing talented guest artists (friends and relatives). I still have some physical CDs, however, I’m deciding to join the online streaming world!

I think I’ve only written 2 or 3 songs since our kids were born. Life got busy and I made many excuses as to why I had no time. I’ve a few more songs to write. I need to get going because I really miss this creative side to my life.

I believe it’s a few days before this older release will be fully searchable on several streaming sites. I’m also planning to start a YouTube channel to sing covers of my favorite songs. And I may even record the other tunes I have written and upload them as well.

The goal is to have fun and enjoy the therapeutic power of music. Not looking to earn a dime!
