Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Advocating for older adults is a responsibility we all share. It is imperative that we work together to effect change and ensure our seniors receive the respect, kindness, and care they deserve.

Elder abuse is a critical issue that can take many forms, including physical, emotional, and financial abuse, as well as neglect. By raising awareness and promoting education, we can help prevent abuse and support those who have experienced it.

We hope you will join us for a Fun filled day and a Surf & Turf experience.

The Rotary Club of Port Hope will host a Surf & Turf Dinner on Saturday, June 22 from 4:30 –10:30 p.m. in a large barn at Haute Goat Farm, 1165 5 th Line, Port Hope.
From 4:30 – 5:45 p.m. guests can have goat and alpaca visits and tours. Dinner will be served buffet style at 6:00 p.m.
The meal includes fresh cooked 1 ½ pound lobster, steak, salads, sides and dessert. The
dinner will be casual on picnic tables on the sand floor of the barn. There will be a cash bar.
Following dinner, there will be a live auction, music and an outdoor campfire.
Tickets are $120 per person. The deadline for ordering is June 15.
There is also a take-out option. You can pick up your food at Port Hope United Church between
4:00 – 5:00 p.m. on June 22. The lobster will be cooked, but you will need to BBQ or cook the
steak. There are three options for take-out: - both lobster and steak for $100, lobster only for $90, or steak only for $80.
Proceeds for this fundraise will support Rotary projects including the new Youth Wellness Hub in Port Hope.
