Testimonial Time

This workshop was the best thing that has happened to me. I am still on a good path and I am happy.

I backed away from my family. I don’t go running anymore. I put up boundaries and I am sticking to my boundaries.

I don’t own, carry or give into anything but my happiness. I love the fact I can say I AM GREAT!

I can honestly say, this has helped me work wise, home wise and my mental health.

Thank you for giving me the tools to help me move forward on in life 😊

A new service in Prince George

Did you know that Hot & Cold Therapy has many physical benefits, and at the same time, emotional benefits as well!

Completing Hot-Cold Therapy sessions can create a sense of accomplishment and boost your self-esteem. This is because you got out of your comfort zone and did something challenging and overcame it. (Hello Resilience!) It can make you feel proud as you realize that you can do hard things.

The HOT is an Infrared Sauna and the COLD is a Cold Plunge. Have your tried our Hot & Cold Therapy yet? Call us bias, but we really think you will find it beneficial!

Ember of Hope was with two groups in the past two weeks in Prince George. If you are interested in taking our gatherings you have a bit of time to plan for April or May openings.

Did you know that the Crisis Centre for Northern BC is partnered with 9-8-8? We provide existing crisis services within our community, as well as take 9-8-8 calls and texts. Many rural or remote communities rely on the existing network of crisis lines to have accessible mental health support or resources, and partnering with 9-8-8 serves to expand that access.

For those who may not know, 9-8-8: Su***de Crisis Helpline is Canada’s new three-digit service. This number can be used by people in every province and territory who are in need of support. If you or someone you know is thinking about su***de, call or text 9-8-8.

No matter how you choose to connect with us, we are here for you 24/7.

When we like a business and they provide a lot of value we love to share about it. North Star catering provided our group with a lunch this week! And it was phenomenal! The bannock reminded me of my granny and aunty’s bannock 🥰 we highly recommend checking them out and getting your next catering job done by them!

Ember of Hope is taking some holidays! We've been doing our group counseling work since February 2021 with little time off. We see the need to do this important trauma and grief work with our people and our allies. However, we know self care and taking some much needed time away from work is important for us.

While we are away, we will continue to be available to take requests or answer questions through Kari, our Admin/Event Planner - [email protected] or you can check our website at www.emberofhope.ca
