Literacy PG is seeking volunteer readers!

A special thank you to PG McDonald's PBR Enterprises LTD for being our main Raise a Reader sponsor! They helped us raise $6424.00! These funds, plus the other generous donations from Canadian Tire, Tim Hortons, CNC, Friends of the PG Library, and the many who donated on the morning of September 21st, your donations will go towards funding various literacy programs in Prince George over the next year. Thank you!

Raise a Reader grant applications will be available in November 2023.

Tomorrow you can find our Raise a Reader volunteers fundraising in their bright orange Raise a Reader shirts alongside The Prince George Spruce Kings players at the following locations from 7:00am - 9:00am:

The fundraising campaign for Raise a Reader has commenced. We at Literacy Prince George are immensely grateful for the support of PG McDonald's. Throughout the month of September, you have the opportunity to make a donation to Raise a Reader at any of the McDonald's locations in town. All funds collected will be channeled directly into literacy projects within our community.

My best friend Dave Horton has once again poured his entire heart and soul (and sanity) into a totally free and open event to the community!

You won’t want to miss the Family Day Adventure Cruise!

His goal is to provide a fun, safe, and memory building day for families to get out of the house and have a great time doing activities all over town while having a chance to win some pretty kick ass prizes!
