Adonis Leather Sap 8.3/4" impact weapon, Slapjacks, sap, blackjack, baton device
Slapjacks, also known as "sap", are flattened and weighed leather baton-like devices. The head is filled with lead shots, and the body has a piece of spring steel - combined the device is stiff but also has a bit of flex, which helps it make a nice slapping thud when it hits a table or similarly hard surface. You'll be surprised at just how much of a wallop they pack. It's an old and somewhat nostalgic design.
The Adonis SAP is an impact weapon measuring out to 8 3/4" long and weighing 250 or 255 grams making it a nice self-defense sap. Useful in self-defense, these saps can carry some extra punch with a snap of the wrist with the spring steel in the handle.
