ATTENTION: Annual Fire Hydrant Flushing

The Fire Hydrant Flushing is occurring starting September 11, 2023 and will continue over the next 3 weeks. During this time residents may experience water discolouration and pressure fluctuations as a result of the routine water main flushing to ensure the continued delivery of clean, safe drinking water. Higher flow rates have the potential of releasing particles of rust from the interior surfaces of older, cast iron water mains. Although this does not represent a health concern, residents in the affected area may experience a slight red or brown discolouration in their tap water. Customers are advised to avoid laundry if they notice the discolouration.

Welcome to Railway 1856 - Ultimate Mini Golf!

This challenging new railway-themed Indoor Mini Golf course is to be located inside the Elgin Centre in St. Thomas with an opening slated for this November.

We are a locally owned, family business that will provide a fun & family-friendly environment year-round in a climate-controlled building.

The course will be located through part of the main corridor of the Elgin Centre, beginning near the West main entrance. With so many great shopping options, Galaxy Cinemas, and a Holiday Inn Express opening soon, we think the Elgin Centre is a perfect location for this new venture.

The name of the business comes from our rich Railway history in St. Thomas & Elgin County. 1856 was the year the first rail line that passed through St. Thomas was completed and was the year the London & Port Stanley Railway (L&PS) was inaugurated. We will have a variety of challenging holes incorporating railway-themed obstacles.

Course Features:
- 18 railway-themed holes with many slopes & obstacles!
- Extended evening hours (past regular Elgin Centre hours)
- Theme nights & special weekday deals
- Group Discounts! Perfect for your birthday party or staff outing!
- Tournaments
- Fun for ALL ages!

We would like to thank the Small Business Enterprise Centre for their assistance in helping us navigate the hurdles of opening a new business. We have been in the process of making this business come to life since November 2021 and we can't wait to open!

Make sure to give us a LIKE on Facebook and stay up to date on all future announcements! You can also bookmark our new website www.railway1856minigolf.ca.

ALL ABOARD! โ›ณ๏ธ๐Ÿš‚
