As we enter into the first half of January I made some promises to myself. Number one was expressing gratitude towards all the things I’m grateful for each and every day… sometimes every single moment. Learning to love who I am and to prioritize myself…because in all reality we all need to love ourselves before we can love others. Being easier on myself as I grow as a person is something else I’m learning. Spending more time at the gym and eating healthier is important to me as part of my healthier habits…even though a glass of wine or two may be added to the table 😉. And last but not leaste to protect my space, time, energy from things that don’t serve me well.

What are some of the promises you would like make to yourself in the coming days or even months ahead?

I'm 54 years old. I am a 60’s baby. Anyone who was BORN in the 60's,70s and 80s, we are the last generation that played in the street. We are the FIRST to play video games ever and the LAST to record songs off the radio onto a cassette tape. We walked over a mile without worry of being taken...watched cartoons on Saturday mornings... programmed the VCR before anyone else... We played Atari & Nintendo ...and went to house parties where we danced up a sweat! We are the generation of Fat Albert, Star Trek, Soul Train, Gilligan’s Island, Scooby-Doo, & Good Times...We traveled in cars w/o seat belts or airbags & lived without cell phones. We did not have flat screens, surround sound, iPads, Facebook, Twitter, computers or the Internet...But we had an Absolutely GREAT time! Copy and Re-post with a picture ❤️

I bought this little black dress because I was having a feel good day and decided to spoil myself. I wanted to feel not only confident but also sexy in my own skin. It has taken me some time to build my confidence but I’m so happy I have. I’ve let go of the past things that have not served me well and have grown into a new woman. This is what day by day growth looks like♥️. As the saying goes “Confidence is what makes us Sexy”

Making some big changes tomorrow. Can’t wait for the new me look….embracing the little things in life. I’ll keep ya posted. Thank you everyone for your support♥️
