Still struggling with the fact that my oldest niece is taller than me(I have been referred to as aunty shorty) and graduating from high school this year 🫢 Any else feel like they’re shrinking in height? 😂

I chose to do a full head of teasy lights for Analise to help create a dimensional blonde that will allow for a blended and soft grow out at her root.
I can’t wait to style these luscious locks in a few months for grad!

For Annalise’s color I did a bunch of teasy lights to add a tone of dimension while keeping her grow out soft and blended. I’m loving her little pockets of depth I created by leaving out pieces of her natural hair color.

I was honoured to style hair for my sister in law’s wedding this past fall. Meghan and her gals were so much fun to spend the morning with and made me feel like part of the group ❤️

Janet came in for her appointment ready to chop off some length and tone down her blonde.
I added some lowlights to break up her blonde ends, and teasy lights to brighten up her roots ✌️

The color of my dreams 😍

Alyssa wanted a big change without a ton of commitment. After an in depth consult I learned that she loves being blonde, but wanted to try something new while still being able to go back to blonde fairly easily.
I chose to use a demi permanent color as it will fade nicely over time and won’t leave her with a super visible line of demarcation at her root. This will make the process of going back to blonde so much easier than using a permanent color.

True story: this style had me sweating 😅

I felt slightly out of my comfort zone during .rose ‘s hair trial, and was not happy with the finished product. I ended up spending a couple days practicing the style on my mannequin and tried to recreate the inspo pictures that Sariana showed me(I’ve included them in this post) I asked Sariana to come back for a second trial and it went much smoother and I felt more confident in creating a style that would last and stay in place.

I am thankful for opportunities to learn and to refine my skills. I’m learning that I don’t know everything and sometimes I need to go back to the basics and practice.
