What is an old soul?
I just read a post where a neighbor was complaining about a yard on her street that was normally taken care of, but had recently been let go. There was a barrage of people demanding it be turned in to be cited by the city.
Can I ask my friends to consider something?...if you see this in your neighborhood, go knock on the door and see what's going on.
Last year my Mother in laws yard, which is normally immaculately manicured went weeks without being touched. She was inside the home caring for her husband who was dying from Cancer. I remember watching as a few young men from her Church showed up with trailers, riding mowers and went to work getting it taken care of. It took a village to help her last year and I know she may not have remembered everyone that helped, I know she appreciated having every single second she could with Chris.
Maybe your neighbor has something much bigger to take care of than uncut grass...and maybe they need some help. Let's don't lose all ability to be neighborly.

"So today I went to Kroger and had my eight month old grandson with me.
We have family in town so we had the grown kids go to lunch with their favorite aunt and uncle, my husband took the three year old granddaughter to her first movie at the theater for the first time with the other kids.
While I was at Kroger, I was stocking up.
My eight month old grandson was wooing everyone there. He didn’t want to sit in the cart anymore at the end. I was holding him in the checkout line.
The man behind me came up and loaded all of my groceries on the conveyer belt for me. I paid and he slid forward and loaded all of the groceries in my cart.
I smiled and said chivalry isn’t dead.
He saw me in the parking lot and told me to start the car to cool it down while he loaded my trunk.
I got my grandson in his car seat and we came home. I was safe and made sure no one was following me. I knew he was sincere though. I believe in good.
I didn’t get his name but it made me smile and reminded me that people are good.
Thank you kind gentleman. You’re a great role model for your two little ones!"

Self-sabotage isn't always obvious. Sometimes it involves things that you may not even recognize are self-sabotage.
Meet Henry, from Warman, SK. 💚 After a typical pregnancy, Henry’s family was surprised when he was diagnosed with Down Syndrome and a congenital heart defect in the days following his birth. While the first year of his life was scary and daunting to navigate, being able to receive life-saving care at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital was a great comfort to Henry’s family.
More recently, Henry has been diagnosed with instability in his spine, meaning he is unable to participate in contact sports; but that doesn't mean he can't be part of the Riders family! "He has developed a great relationship with a number of Roughriders' players through the support of JPCHF, and he is so lucky to be treated like a member of the team regardless of whether he’ll ever be able to step on the field as a player," said Brittany, Henry's mom.
When you purchase tickets for the Roughrider & Children's Hospital Foundations Lottery, championed by The Mosaic Company - Canada, you're helping kids like Henry receive the care they need right here at home. Help make a huge difference in kids' lives across Saskatchewan: riderschildrenslottery.ca

Ministry Social Services;
Where do you find a place to live with a family of four on $711?
How do they survive on $900 for living expenses?
How does a family do laundry for $20 approximately a month? Especially when the dryer usually needs to go twice. Almost $6 for one load!
Absolutely ridiculous!
How do you buy groceries the prices they are now?
How do you get transportation?
$30 for your phone bill. Where do you get a phone payment for that amount?
What if you need clothing or other personal needs and you don't have enough money?
What if you need medication that is not covered? Example: Physio, chiropractor, massage, etc.
The SIS program is a joke! The SAID program needs to be updated.
How would the people at the very top of Social Services, live six months on this budget?
I have helped numerous individuals/families and money is the number 1 problem.
A single bedroom is $700 +.
Room and board, Social services give $459 for rent.
I would really like to hear from you?

Hi I’m Auzzie, I’m about 10 week old pup. I’m your typical curious mischievous pup who’s always up for an adventure.
I live with 2 other foster dogs who I get along with great! I tend to think that one of them is my mama so I copy everything she does which is helping me learn how to sit, stay and use the bathroom outside( although I still have accidents inside at times) My foster mom thinks I’m fabulous even though I’m not the biggest fan of my kennel I tend to wake her up quite early but she does say I’m getting better at staying in it for longer periods.
I’m calm natured relaxed and quite the independent little guy. I will let you know when I’m looking for cuddles or a good snuggle otherwise, I’m quite content Laying on my bed with all my toys. I think I’m going to be quite a big boy considering I tend to stumble over my own paws so, if your looking for life long partner who’s up for almost anything I’m your guy!
Adoption fee is $495 ( 200 refunded upon proof of neuter. he is microchipped, dewormed. started on a vaccine schedule and has received a wellness exam). Click here to apply for Auzzie https://www.newhoperescue.org/adoption-application/
