Meet The Team Friday…introducing Derek Carlson.

Derek has been with us for three years and is our shop foreman. For those of you who were able to come out for the Crop Production show he was one of the guys in the booth and did an amazing job of setting things up. He also did a great job taking over our IG stories and keeping us posted on what was going on that week.

We are so glad to have Derek as part of the CMS Team.

Just like that we are halfway through February, time sure flies when you love your job.

Gareth has been with the company from the start. He brings so much experience from working on the road for a large portion of his time and moving into the GM position managing all the work on the road and shop. Gareth is incredibly hard working and very knowledgeable in all aspects of the work we do. He is a valuable player in this organization.

Meet Ryan Knutson, Owner of CMS. Ryan started working for a millwright company 12 years ago that did repairs and maintenance on grain facilities across western Canada. In 2015, he had the opportunity to buy in as a partner and in 2019 he became the owner.

Ryan enjoys all aspects of working with grain equipment and machinery, along with getting to know the people that own and operated the facilities.

Ryan is also a husband to his beautiful wife Audra and dad to their two kids Jordyn and Anna. Life is never boring. With a love for country living and all that comes along with it, Ryan can often be found outdoors with his family enjoying life.
