Oh, how precious are these little bundles of joy! They're only this tiny for a short while, you know? But once they reach around 3 weeks, they start becoming more aware of the world around them. It's such a fascinating phase of their development!

If you're thinking about capturing their adorable newborn moments, you'll be happy to know that newborn sessions can be scheduled up until they're 4 weeks old. However, it's important to note that there might be some variations in the workflow as we can't guarantee a standardized approach during this time. But don't worry, we'll still do our best to capture those precious memories for you!

Newborn session work best when your newborn is between 6 to 12 days old. At this age, they are still sleepy and we can get those tiny curled up poses, and if we are lucky, some dreamy smiles.
After this age, they don’t sleep as deeply, often don’t like being moved around into different positions and start to lose that “newness” or “curliness” and may become colicky, or develop “baby acne”, however i can do wrapped sessions with babies up to 4-6 weeks of age.

Typically, I schedule all newborn sessions between 6 and 12 days after birth.

Beautiful baby girl from my mini wrapped newborn session. A mini newborn session is a short (usually 45-60 minutes) photo session where the baby remains wrapped at all times. This session differs from other newborn photo sessions as it does not involve the use of a posing table, and naked poses are not included.

Most images will be taken while the baby is in a deep sleep. I am trained in baby-posing safety and always follow your baby’s cues, prioritizing safety and comfort. Your newborn session typically lasts between 1-2,5 hours and includes time for breastfeeding, diaper changes, and snuggles. Siblings and parents are included and always welcome for the standard newborn session. If you are expecting and booking in advance, please consider our maternity photography services.

If you’d like to book your newborn session with me, you can book in advance while pregnant. Beginning of second trimester is ideal!

I get asked this question a lot, so let me give you all the details! So, when it comes to photographing newborns, there isn't a strict age limit. But personally, I love capturing those adorable little ones when they're about 6 days old. However, don't worry if it's been a few weeks since their due date! I'm more than happy to schedule a newborn session up to 3-4 weeks after their expected arrival. Just let me know what works best for you!

Some answers ✨How many photos can I expect to see in my proof gallery?
I go through your entire session frame by frame and choose the most perfect images to add to your proof gallery. Usually a 2 hour session generates about 50-80 images for you to review.
 
✨Will you provide unedited images?
It is my policy that no unedited images or raw files will be given to clients for any reason.

✨What is your turnaround time?
2 weeks after making your selection, you will receive a link with your fully edited images.
