You never know what story you'll find in the pages of a book.
Sarah's pick for this week is 'Blue Bison Needs a Haircut' by Scott Rothman.
Blue Bison prides himself on always looking clean and neat. But he has a growing problem--his hair. With the barber shops and just about everywhere else closed, all Blue Bison can do is ram his ramming rock in frustration. Meanwhile, his hair keeps growing...
A truly funny story with a subtle message that waiting is hard but sometimes is necessary.
If you like this one try the sequel that came out earlier this year: 'Bubble Gum Bison Needs a Bath'!

We are very proud of the support we've been able to offer women through Menstruating with Dignity: Period. With the funding we've received from the Foundation for Women's Health Community Grants Program, the Spruce Grove Public Library will be able to address period poverty by providing free period products in our public washrooms.
We were one of the 24 organizations to benefit from the Community Grants Program. Find out more about the funding opportunities available at shoppersfoundation.ca. We're extremely grateful to Foundation for Women's Health for the support.
