This week we are heading out bowling at Ed’s Bowling in the West Edmonton Mall. We have two lanes reserved at 7:30pm-9:45pm. We will be there shortly after 7pm so as we can grab shoes and get going right at 7:30! The cost has been generously covered by the Barton family, to which we give much gratitude! You will need $5 for shoe rental.

This week we are off to see Jesus Revolution at the Landmark Cinema in Spruce Grove (130 Century Crossing), at 6:40. Feel free to show up early at 6:15 to grab your ticket ($12.50) and any snacks you might want. With a runtime of 2 hours, pickup would be around 8:40. Both pickup and drop off at location!

This week we are going to paint the night away with a Bob Ross Esque Night! Youth can rest assured that whether they are the next Monet or have the artistic skills of a small child, they will fit in just fine! Rob Ross, Bob’s brother (AKA Pastor Dan) has graciously offered to help lead us through our paint night this Friday. Brushes, paints, and canvas will be supplied, however, youth are welcome to bring their own if they so choose!

Guys are headed out to On-Par Golf Lounge and VR Arcade (485 South Ave Spruce Grove, T7X 3B5). Golf Sims (bring your own clubs or rent on site), Multi-Sims, and VR Games! Bring $15 cash or e-transfer on location!

Girls are heading to Crockadoodle (110-187 Hwy 16A, Spruce Grove, AB). Bring either $8-12, $20-$25, or $30 cash, in order to paint your selected creation! More money equals larger pottery item. Please bring cash to pay for your item!

We’re back!! We hope that you had a great Christmas and New Years, but we cannot wait to get the group back together and hang out once again! The Winter Festival is upon us once again! Come prepared to be outside all night (Weather will be mild), energy to participate in some activities, and bring skates to use our rink.

We will be wrapping the year up this week! We will be having a party at the Wolfram's House (9821 187 ST, Edmonton), from 7-9:30pm. Card games, video games, snacks, and even a small rink (BYOSkates) are available for us!

The night is finally here! Youth will have a red carpet style event for the airing of their feature films. Food and Drink will be served at their table, with leaders taking orders. Votes will be cast for such awards as best director, best actor/actress, and best film, with winners being awarded the sought after Golden Bulb award! We ask the youth to please dress formally for this event. We cannot wait to see the films and who takes home the awards! See you there!!

This week we are getting out of the church! Do you miss the hot weather and the pool? Well you're in luck, we are heading to the Tri-Leisure Centre (221 Jennifer Heil Way) from 7-9:30pm. Youth can either hit the pool or shoot some hoops in the gym! There's also a Booster Juice and vending machines, so you can send your youth with some spending money if you would like!
*Edit*- Pool is closed!!! Oops, however there is still lots to do! Basketball, volleyball, soccer, or even the gym!

We are absolutely stoked for this week's first ever Family Worship Night! At Glory
Hills Church from 7:00-8:00pm we have a prayer and worship night planned for the youth and their family to experience God together. We hope that worshiping the Lord as a family will draw you closer together, as well as help everyone to get a sense of our hearts as leaders. We welcome anyone who is in youth, or is thinking about starting to come, to come out as a family this Friday. All are invited! See you there!!

I hope you are ready for Worship Night next week, but if you aren’t we have a warm up. This Friday, we have Two leaders, Jeremiah & Karen, bringing the Word for us. As we learn about both how and why we worship, we also have the Youth Worship team along for the ride so we can get some practice! See you there!!

The most anticipated event of the season is here...The Golden Bulbs! For those who did not get to experience this last year, make sure to come! We will be filming our own movies which will then be premiered at a red carpet event in December! Come prepared with movie ideas, phones to capture the action, and all the acting skills you can muster. See you there!

Hey guys! We had an absolutely incredible weekend out at Nakamun! We saw youth being impacted by God, and bonds growing deeper between us. We are incredibly proud of the leaders and youth who both participated and made this weekend possible.
