We truly appreciate all the donations we receive, but after hours donation dropping is not allowed. Unfortunately, these bags and boxes get torn open, riffled through, and left exposed to the elements and critters. Many items become unsellable and have to be placed in the garbage, and your donation does not end up where you intended it to go. We know these are well-meaning donations, we just ask that you be mindful of what could happen. Thank you for your understanding!

The International Day of Charity is celebrated each year on September 5th, to commemorate the anniversary of the death of Mother Teresa, known world-over for her tireless work to lessen the suffering of those in poverty.

The goal of this day of goodwill is to inspire people to acknowledge their social responsibility, mobilize them towards charitable work, and to honour those who contribute their time towards the well-being of others.

On this day, we want to celebrate the unsung heroes of our Thrift Shop, those who volunteer their time to sort, process, clean, organize, haul, and sell donations. Treasures do not magically appear on our shelves, and without these hard working individuals, our store would not be possible!
