Some moments from our second winter camping adventure!!
We are blown away; EVERYONE we've met so far through our events has been super keen, open, friendly, and just super fun to hang out with 🤩

The girls were shovelling like this was the last thing they'd do... and ended up with some huge, super cozy and solid snowcaves.

Which is good since it rained all night long, classic Squamish! They did not collapse nor did anyone crawl out before 9am 😴

No surprise since of course we snug in a little sunset tour before dinner 🏂

After a chatty breakfast in our communal shelter, we did a big avalanche rescue scenario, practiced with the transceivers, probing and shoveling and figured out how to be a leader in a rescue.

Before we skied back out we had the most fun ever breaking camp 🤩

Thanks to all you amazing ladies for bringing this project to life with your smiles and laughter, beyond stoked 🤘

Squamish’s ‘Stoke Sisters’ hopes to empower women Adventure group looks to unite women who want to explore backcountry.

First Stoke Sisters Winter Camping Clinic done 👌

Spent all weekend up on the mountain in our stunning Squamish backyard, with 6 super rad local women. Lots of powder skiing, digging snow caves and laughing 🤘

Sharing the hard moments ("All my gloves are wet and frozen 🤨"), as well as the good moments ("I wish I could just live up here 🤩"), and making new friends.

Everyone was super keen and was supporting each other wherever they could. They all signed up as single participants and after 2 days we definitely rolled back into the parking lot as a group of friends. These awesome women exceeded our hopes for the outcome of this clinic 100% 😍

Thanks for the best weekend ladies!!!! STOKED!

Very awesome day out in the backcountry with these lovely ladies 😊 Learned about wind slab pockets, and how to recognize and avoid them and then even skied some mellow pow turns! Beauty day 🥰

Despite the rain, 4 bulletproof very stoked Squamish sisters showed up and did some magic! It was dark, chilly and WET - somehow this collectively got turned into excitement and joy!

Thank you SPARK Kombucha for your healthy hydration! Your bubbles with benefits got the girls a needed recharge after biking up from Brackendale, to then bike for hours in the rain and dark 🙌

Thank you FATMAP - we successfully all returned home following along on the fatmap app 🙌

And thanks Corsa Cycles !!! We were too wet and cold by the end of the night to give any prizes; next time the sun is out we'll give it another go! 🙌

What's next?! Solstice Paddle June 20th and another night bike ride as soon as the sun is out! Stay tuned✌

Super stoked our Winter fundraiser and sticker slap raised 600$ for BC Search and Rescue!!

As expected they had a super busy Winter keeping us all safe.

We got a bunch of pictures sent in from participants of the sticker slap and are super stoked that some avalanche education got shared out there this way.
