What are Cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are the active components in a cannabis plant and there has been over 140 cannabinoids identified. 🌿The two most common cannabinoids are Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC and Cannabidiol or CBD. Other ones that are gaining popularity include CBN, CBG and CBC.

THC is the cannabinoid that produces the "high" when using cannabis. CBD does not produce any "high" feeling. Both compounds have been found to have beneficial effects, which is reflected in the current cannabis research. Lots more research is currently underway around the globe! 🌍
